Team Sask wheelchair athletes harvested more medals today in Athletics. Gold, Silver and Bronze were added to the Team Sask totals. Keira Frie claimed her second gold medal of the games winning the 1500m. Teammate, Cory Harrower, finished with the bronze medal. Kyle Shaw wheeled a great race to win a silver medal in his 1500m event. Other medalists today were Jessica Furlan who won the gold medal in the 2000m Steeplechase. Lauren Weigel won her second silver medal of the games by placing second in the Special Olympics 200m.
Results of all finals are listed below. Friday is the final day for Athletics and the prospects of more medals for Team Sask are expected.
