Team Sask fans followed the coach’s lead in encouraging the boys on to two victories today. “That’s Goood Roog-B” could be heard around the field as Team Sask claimed another victory over New Brunswick 17-7 in the morning draw. With traffic around the city at a standstill parents and fans walked blocks to get to the rugby venue for the evening contest. Team Sask took on host PEI in the consolation re-match. PEI lead 6-0 late in the game. With their backs against the wall Team Sask scored its first try of the contest with less than two minutes remaing in the contest and made the conversion to eek out a 7-6 victory for Saskatchewan. Friday Team Sask plays Nova Scotia at 10:00 am and Manitoba at 2:00 pm.
