		<description>Dear Julie:

I am not sure if any of your parents have need, but we have a great 5 unit motel property, very centrally located in Cavendish PEI that we still have units available for Canada Games dates. The motel is in the heart of Cavendish, a 30 minute drive from both Summerside and Charlottetown and within walking distance to attractions, shopping and many restaurants. Cavendish is the home of Anne of Green Gables National Historic Site and the PEI National Park with its white sand-duned beaches. It is PEI’s most popular destination on the north shore of the Island.

Abby Lane Motel has 5 overnight motel units linked by a large covered verandah. Each unit consists of either 2 double beds or 1 queen with sofabed, mini-fridge, coffee maker, satellite TV, wireless high speed internet and there are 2 propane barbeques on site for guest use. Our nightly rates are very affordable at $90-95.00. . The units are exceptionally clean, well-kept and spacious

Parents can call toll-free to reserve – 1877-700-5263 or email info@abbylane.pe.ca.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide and have a great Canada Games!

<description>Lorne Lasuita, Chef de Mission, Mark Bracken, Assistant Chef de Mission and myself travelled to PEI last week for meetings with the Canada Games organizing committee.

PEI has worked hard in their preparation for the Canada Games, August 14 - 29, 2009. The sport venues, athletes villages and games services will be outstanding. The communities throughout PEI hosting sporting events have embraced the games movement and are looking forward to welcoming the country to PEI.

Prince Edward Island will be a treat for parents and supporters as well. There are so many fun and interesting things to see and do. From Green Gables to lobster dinners those of us from the prairies will truly enjoy the Island and all it has to offer.

Please check the website regularly for information on Team Sask souvenirs, tickets and information on attractions to visit in PEI.
